Don't take relationship advice from single people ...
Updated: Dec 5, 2017
Do not take relationship advice from people that are single. Or take to heart financial tips from friends that are always broke.
A side of the same coin is that if you want to be great, than you've got to learn from the greatest.
I have been binge watching inspirational video's the last couple of weeks. I have been working hard and when I got home I cooked, cuddled with my man and watched amazing, wisdom filled, make me want to dance in my pants, inspirational video's.
First I thought about giving you the video's but you might not have time to watch them, so I decided to give you this one, which started a great process in me. And of course more of what I have been learning soon in blog posts to come.
Here goes. From the video: "The Magic of Visualisation" - Tony Robbins:
What determines your success?
1. Your Potential
4. Your Belief about your Potential
Your potential is much greater than you think that it is, that is true for most people. This is what happens with people that are less successful in life and the same is true for the people that are successful but then the opposite.
When you're uncertain of the outcome of your action, you will take a wobbly kind of action. Like the salesman that knocks on a 100 doors saying: You wouldn't like this would you? That keeps being reinforced in his belief that he can't sell the fax machines (or enter something else you could sell door to door).
The Salesmen's belief about his potential determines his actions, which determine his results which reinforces his belief in himself and in his potential and starting the cycle over everytime he does something.
Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Vishen Lakhiani, Jim Carey and Oprah Winfrey are examples of whom I know work(ed) with this very same principle, there's one difference though. They FIRST start at Result.
They already have seen the result in their minds, they were absolutely certain that they would get a specific outcome and from that place they took action.
Their result was naturally a success and they got reinforced in their belief they could do it also starting the cycle over but from a great place.
Yes they failed at some times. The difference is they didn't stop taking action. They did not see this failure as proof they couldn't do it. They see it as a proof it didn't work in the way the tried the 1st, 2nd, 3rd time and they kept on going until they found the right way.
Thoughts become things. Whatever we belief manifests itself. Make sure you choose the right thoughts.
I hope you enoyed reading this. You can watch the whole video (what I described above is just a tiny bit out of it) here: https://goo.gl/LLfBo1
