Have you noticed that it’s easier to have more patience with someone or even like someone when you know more about them?
You understand their motives, how to frame their behaviour and remarks which instantly makes them more loveable.
That’s why “story-telling” has been and still is a hot topic.
An Indian Proverb: Tell me a fact, and I’ll learn. Tell me a truth, and I’ll believe, but tell me a story and it will live in my heart forever.
To be able to tell a story you have to know a little more than meets the eye.
Do you know what your story is? Do you know what makes you tick? What gets you up in the morning or what keeps you not wanting to get up?
Do you really know it? Can you feel it in your body or do you hear it in your mind?
I love anyone, everyone and everything that helps us as individuals know ourselves. Know our motives, know what drives us, what makes us come alive, what makes us want to jump a cliff.
One of these people is Alan Watts and this is one of my favourite video’s.
