I use make up to enhance my beauty. Never to cover her up. And through the way I eat I can control how my skin looks. Which I actually found fairly recent.
The last 5 years of my life I've had a fairly good skin and the last year I can call her perfect. Before it was such a mess, always pimpels and spots and what not.
I don't know about you, but I got very insecure from my bad skin so I'm über happy I found an easy way to keep her amazing.
This is what I mostly eat and drink:
Three liters of water a day, preferably bottled water of good quality.
Agni Water = 10 minutes boiled water with tea or herbs
All kinds of raw seeds and nuts: sunflower seeds, almonds, cashews, walnuts
Raisins, in the evening I always mix raisins with raw seeds and nuts to soothe my sweet tooth
Plant based milks like spelt, almond or hafer. I stopped drinking soy for all kinds of different reasons. They also give me spots and my body feels bloated after drinking soy. And, it’s better for our mother earth too.
I always eat something living with a meal. Like watermelon in my spelt porridge breakfast or basil leaves and other greens and vegetables for diner or I add sprouts to lunch.
Salad, sauerkraut, cucumber, brocoli etc. I love mixed salad bowls with seitan sausages and grilled sunflower seeds. I make a dressing with mustard, water, nutritional yeast and add a bit salt and pepper.
Also, I stopped eating bread. Which was unthinkable for me and I did not even know that I could do it. It just evolved into this. Ever since Susanna’s sessions, my rockstar naturopath that prescribes me the perfect teas, my body naturally rejects what she doesn’t want.
I don't even want alcohol anymore and that is a biggy for me. I would have never expected to be one of "those" people. I can seriously feel on a high at a party without any help of anything. Just the vibes, the music and the people.
